Born and bred in Sydney, Dalara developed a strong sense of community and participation in a variety of sports as a child, including volleyball, softball, netball, and many others. After touring, Dalara was offered the role of Goneril in The Shadow King, a Darwin Festival adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy King Lear.Dalara has acquired and accepted many new abilities in acting, writing, and theatre development during her time at NIDA, and in her second year there, she won the Hazel Treweek Shakespeare Prize.
